Development Pause

After a relatively lengthy blogging hiatus, we at Divide by Zero Studios would like to update you about all the things we’ve completed as well as the following things that are to be taken care of.

As earlier mentioned, the game-in-development Vector Storm is in need of a graphical design that will be used to promote the game. An appropriate logo will be conceptualized very soon, and hopefully showcased after it has been completed. Switching to the programmatic structure, an issue had arisen that called for a complete remodel of the game’s engine. A serious problem, but fortunately addressed and dealt with the moment it became evident. The game’s plethora of enemies is extremely large, so we have stopped enemy design so the studio may focus more on other aspects, such as story, game concepts, and overall aesthetics. However, this is simply temporary; once other objectives have been taken care of, enemies will be created. This generally means that the new mini boss, Pulse-Ray, was the last enemy for a while. Below is the finished enemy:

The Pulse Ray (tentative title)

In other, relatively unrelated news, the studio has created a Facebook page and Twitter account in an attempt to garner a following to support our efforts and expand our social base. Feel free to ‘like’ and/or ‘follow’ the sites:
