It’s Still Alive

After perhaps the most drawn-out, mute, and embarrassingly blank hiatus in all of blogging, we are back! We are sorry for the dearth of posts, but we are posting to announce some very exciting things.

First and foremost, all three of us are high school graduates! Senior year was the worst in terms of productivity, but we are still dead-set on finishing the game.

Regarding the game, we have a logo for Vector Storm!

It was designed recently, in the wake of post-graduation relapse.

But there’s more. Complications have arisen. Our three members are all going to separate colleges. Obviously, the physical distance is crippling to game development, which is why we want to get a lot done this summer. Due to unfortunate circumstances, the game will not be done by the end of the summer. However, we have plans. All three of us will be going into computer science/engineering, so that we can hopefully work on segments of the game independently and cooperatively, regardless of physical proximity. Also, given our mutual studies, the development of Vector Storm should be accelerated.

Finally, something we are excited about – our first teaser trailer!

Something to note: although this is our most recent trailer, it should be known that it doesn’t represent our game in a two aspects. First, the game is in a higher quality than what is in the trailer. Secondly (and more excitingly), the game is now – here it comes – in widescreen! After some discussion, we decided that the current aspect ratio was more for a browser-based experience. We realized that Vector Storm would be a more enjoyable experience in a widescreen format.

Once again, we are sorry for the prolonged absence. However, Vector Storm is just as alive now as it was at its inception. More to come regarding development.

Stay updated!
